The people we look for
MHFA will not be the right place for everyone—and we will not be right for everyone either.
For people who join, a few traits matter:
Responsibility
If you take on work, own the outcome.
Learning
Nobody has every answer. What matters is asking the right questions, learning, and getting better.
Respect
Skill, seniority, and title are never excuses to treat people poorly. Respect is a foundation of how we collaborate.
Honesty
Not everything goes well. Mistakes and hard decisions are part of building. What matters is being honest about them and working to fix them.
Teamwork
An ecosystem only works when people can actually work together—not merely sit next to each other on an org chart.
We are not looking for “headcount”
In many organizations, people are treated as interchangeable capacity.
At MHFA, people are not only resources for getting work done. Everyone brings experience, ability, character, concerns, and their own path.
If a collaboration forms, the relationship should not be reduced to “work for pay” alone. Responsibilities and goals must be clear—and still:
People are human before they are job titles.
If you do not see your place yet
There may not be a role that fits your specialty today. That does not mean there is no path tomorrow.
If you believe your experience, skill, idea, or ability could help a MHFA company or project, introduce yourself. We would rather keep a good connection than miss one that might matter later.
