Leadership instead of management
He draws a clear line between “management” and “leadership.”
Management, in his view, is more about structure, process, and control. Leadership means shared direction, trusting people, and creating space where people can take responsibility and grow.
He has little interest in organizations where the distance between “manager” and “employee” becomes too sharp.
His view is simpler:
Everyone in an organization is, before any title or rank, a human being.
Titles and roles do not add or remove human worth. That is why respect—for teammates, for different views, for people’s time and effort—sits at the center of how he wants to work.
